I keep trying to stay happy about the amazing Obama win last night and his totally inspiring speech. I have never been moved to tears before from a politician's words. But the fact that Prop 8 passed in California is so totally painful it's hard to stay focused on the positives that occurred with this election. This photo was taken at a candlelight vigil at SF's City Hall that was put together to remind everyone that the fight isn't over. A really great night in spite of the sadness.Also, as a side note, I just have to put it out there how sad I am that the voter turnout in San Francisco county was only 50.5%. That is completely ridiculous and careless. If those extra 200,000+ people voted and happened to vote No on 8, this race would be soooo much closer than it is. Shame.
